The Year Of Security Culture (YOSC) is an initiative of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) aiming to raise security awareness and promote a positive security culture in aviation operations across the world. It is a global effort, which seeks to encourage and facilitate the enhancement of security behaviours and practices, with a focus lying on the principle that security is everyone’s responsibility – from the ground up and top-down.
ICAO hereby invites every stakeholder of the aviation community to actively participate in this initiative by integrating security culture philosophy into their various activities and maintaining high standards of security.
